Zac Efron: On his new movie Seventeen

Zac Efron sat down with Access Hollywood to chat about his upcoming film Seventeen, about an guy (Matthew Perry) who suddenly becomes a 17-year-old high school student (Zac). Here are some interview snippets:
On how close he was to not doing High School Musical 3: "Oh gosh. No, seriously I am not going to be the guy who takes High School Musical away from all the fans. We owe everyone too much. High School Musical is a project I hold very close to my heart and I am going to complete the franchise."
On why he chose to star in Seventeen: "It would have been really easy to go and play a kid. I could’ve done that in any movie. But playing a 37-year-old guy who is a kid is a little bit more interesting. It’s great when you have personal experience playing a character. For instance, High School Musical. It was pretty easy. I was playing a high school kid in his first love. Everyone has been there – I had just been there.”
On why he doesn’t talk about his personal life: “I think specifically relationships, it’s sacred ground. That’s something that needs to be between two people. Everyone else can get their noses out.”

Zac Efron and Debra Messing presented the "Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Drama Series" award to The Sopranos' Edie Falco.

Ashley Tisdale got in some alone time with backup dancer boyfriend Jared Murillo on Saturday, Janurary 27th in Beverly Hills before jetting off to New Zealand to film her upcoming adventure comedy, They Came From Upstairs.
After eating lunch with her mom, Lisa, and friends at the Marmalade Cafe, Ashley returned home for a quick change of outfit and went shopping with Jared.
Jashley first stopped into Beverly Center, picked up a few things from Steven Madden and Victoria’s Secret, and then headed to the designer shoe boutique Christian Louboutin.
Jared has been busy with the newly formed boy band The Factory.

Also, JustJared posts that, " Earlier in the day, Vanessa was seen getting out of her Audi S4 Cabriolet convertible in a very tight parking spot at Bobs Big Boy restaurant. " She then went to pick up Zac.
The two of them got lunch at California Pizza Kitchen for a bite to eat before heading home.
